Johnny Bocca Johnny Boca's Sexy Farce for Swingin' Lovers
May 8 - June 1, 2008

Naples, New Jersey, 1959. Welcome to Johnny Bocca’s Place where barflies tell bawdy tales of guys and broads... Then in walks Lenora. A prim housewife with a broken down Edsel and a mysterious story of her own...

Based on Giovanni Boccaccio's Decameron, Hardcover's newest adaptation transplants a collection of 14th century Italian sex farces to 1950s America at the height of the Bachelor Pad era. The creators of the popular London After Midnight serial play have been reassembled to drench this piece of classic prose in cheap booze, excessive pomade and swingin' lounge music. Not recommended for children.

This activity is made possible, in part, by funds provided by the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council through an appropriation by the Minnesota legislature.
