The Witch

In the midst of a late-winter snowstorm, a jealous husband accuses his wife of bewitching the skies in order to lure men to their desolate cabin. Just as the woman tries to defend herself against her husband’s strange allegation, a young postman knocks at the door having lost his way in the storm.

“Hilariously Sexy”
– The Star Tribune

“Hardcover Theater contrasts with broad humor and sharp insight, in the stage adaptation of the short story The Witch. A hilarious view of being sexually frustrated and snowbound. Director Ryan Ripley nails Chekhov style perfectly: boldly humorous, yet mournfully aware of the sadness of the human condition.”
